3D Manatee

What is a manatee, a fish, a whale; the world may never know. But what we do know is that their majastic beasts, with spirits only tamable by neptune himself. Seriously this thing is pretty scary though, like if I was in a canoe or something and saw one of these swimming toward me id probably cry.

1]As the artist of this piece, what was your main objective?

To create a well photoshoped 3D picture out of a regular 2D picture.

2] What tools did you primarily use for this project?

I used the pen tool and the magic wand tool as well as a ton of selections.

3] What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?

Trying to remember which side the red and blue were on.

4] The goal of this assignment was to create three perspective views: Foreground, Mid-ground, and Background. How did you create this illusion? What exactly did you choose to make 3D?

I copy and pasted multiple layers on top of others.
